In these schools, only literacy and catechism were taught and it was contented with memorizing some suras from the Quran. These ancient methods in education, caused children who did not have ideals to grow up. In this context, these schools, which started education with the new method, first abandoned the old, difficult and useless teaching methods applied in primary schools and madrasas in order to save the Turks and Muslims living in Crimea from backwardness and pioneered the replacement of new and modern teaching methods.
